And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.’
II Timothy 2:2

The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the verbally inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original writings, and that they are the supreme and final authority for faith, life and practice. (Ex. 4:10-15; II Tim. 3:16; Heb. 4:13;

II Peter 1:20-21)

In one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true man. (Gen. 1:26; Deut. 6:4; Matt. 3:16-17; II Cor. 13:14; Matt. 1:18; Luke 1:35; John 1:14)

That man was created in the image of the Godhead, but that he sinned and thereby incurred both physical and spiritual death. (Gen. 3:15, 6:5; Psa. 14; Rom. 3:10-23)

That the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him by faith are justified on the ground of His shed blood. We believe in the resurrection of the body of our Lord, His ascension into heaven, and His present life there as our High Priest and Advocate.

(Rom. 3:20-24, 5:1-11; Gal. 2:16, 3:26; I John 3:2)

In the personal, pre-millennial and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and theunjust, the everlasting bliss of the saved and the everlasting conscious suffering of the lost. (II Thess. 4:13-18; Matt. 25:31-47; Psa. 96:13; Acts 17:31; Rev. 20:15)

Our mission, as an Institute for deeper Biblical learning, is to support and provide the people of God with studies in Truth, regardless of denomination, tradition or the opinions of men. We adhere to the historical and orthodox doctrines of the Christian faith, and strive to make those doctrines applicable for the student body through our course studies. (Col. 2:8; Matt. 15:3; II Tim. 2:2; Luke 4:18)

All courses come with a Study Guide. The Study Guide is just that – a guide to help you explore the material at hand. Most courses require that you answer questions regarding the subject you are studying. The answers will be found in the course material itself. Some questions require an answer as to what you think. Please be honest with your answer as you see it in the Light of God’s Word.

Some courses may require a set of audio tapes, CD’s, DVD’s or a book for the completion of that course. The audio and/or video material must be listened to, and the books must be read in order to complete the Study Guide for that particular course. The Study Guide, audio and/or video material and books are yours to keep.

The Study courses originated from the Pastoral Ministry of Dr. Swartz. Some are original studies, while others have been taken from different books or manuals that are grounded and rooted in God’s Word. Those outlined from other authors will be given credit on the opening pages of the Study Guide.

Each course is designed for completion on one’s own time frame. There are no time limits on the completion of any course of study. We only ask that the student be faithful in completing the required courses in a timely manner. A rule of thumb is a 4 credit hour course should take no longer than approximately one month to complete. The required 24 credit hours can be easily completed in a year’s time.

The Study Guides will be three-holed punched and a complimentary notebook will be given at the beginning of your first 24 credit hours of study.

There is an enrollment fee for each 24 credit hours of study. The enrollment fee for each the first four programs of study is $25.00 and $35.00 for each of the Master level programs of study. No student may begin their study program prior to their enrollment fee being paid.

Because of our desire to stay Ministry-minded the tuition will be such that everyone should be able to afford. Tuition is as follows:

First Four Programs of Study ~ $10 per Credit Hour

(Learner – Abider)

Master Level Programs of Study ~ $15 per Credit Hour

An invoice will be sent with each course stating the amount of that course. Payment should be made upon receipt of the invoice. No further courses will be sent to the student until the previous course has been paid for.

There will also be a $3.00 charge for each audio tape and/or audio CD, if required for completing a course. There will also be a charge for any book needed to complete a study course. (The books that are required for some courses cost no more than $10.00 each). These charges help to cover the cost of the tapes and printing, as well as shipping and handling. All checks should be made payable to New Life Bible Institute.

Each course may be done in the convenience of your home, or you may attend the on-campus studies when offered.

For off-campus students: There are no tests required to pass these courses, nor do we require that you send back your answers to each Study Guide. We believe that if you do not have a sincere desire to go deeper into God’s Word you will not be enrolling. However, since the Institute will award a Diploma for each 24 credit hours of study completed, we may ask that someone verify you did indeed do the work required. A form will be sent to you prior to the Diploma being awarded and will need to be signed, dated and returned by your accountability partner before the Diploma is issued.

For on-campus students: It is required that the student be present and participate in the majority of each study in order to earn the corresponding credit hours. We do understand work-schedules and providential hindrances, but it is expected that each person be as faithful as possible.

The second Saturday of each May is our scheduled graduation ceremony. This celebration of accomplishment is open to both on and off campus students who have earned a Diploma. It is not a requirement, but we would like each graduate to attend if at all possible.

For each 24 credit hours of study completed, a Discipleship Diploma will be awarded. No Diploma will be issued until the required credit hours are completed and the financial account is up to date. The student’s transcript will be sent with each Diploma awarded. Even though these courses are equivalent to college-level courses, they will probably not be transferable to other colleges or universities for credit. We are not, at this time, an accredited institution. The following Discipleship Diploma’s will be awarded: The Learner for 24 credit hours completed; The Server for 48 credit hours completed; The Minister for 72 credit hours completed; and The Abider for 96 credit hours completed.

The 24 credit hours build upon one another. In other words, by the time the Server program is completed one will have a total of 48 credit hours, and so on. Upon completion of the first four Discipleship Program Studies the student may continue on by enrolling in the Master Series.

The following Master Discipleship Diploma’s will be awarded: The Master Learner for 24 credit hours completed (the student will have a total of 120 credit hours); The Master Server for 48 credit hours completed (the student will have a total of 144 credit hours); The Master Minister for 72 credit hours completed (the student will have a total of 168 credit hours); The Master Abider for 96 credit hours completed (the student will have a total of 192 credit hours).

The student may not enroll into the Master Series until the first four Discipleship Program Studies have been completed.
